Research and Development

With years of experience in the Multimedia Networking industry, PHITECH has developed a well-rounded team. We offer services in IT consulting, technical support, product development, customization solution, and sales support. Since 1998, our involvement with internet related products has expanded our service offerings. In 2006, our R&D team has developed our own Alarm Management System which is able to integrate successfully with MES (Manufacture Execution System) and PCS (Process Control System) systems. In recent years we have dedicated our research in Telecom value added services.

Research & Development

PHITECH’s research development team focuses on providing Telecom value-added-services and operation support systems. Our software module breakdown as following:

The call switching manager is able to cope with the various signaling protocols. Each software component is monitored by the ARM (Application Response Measurement) and connected through the SNMP for north-bound NMS. The upper level support in the module utilizes the FCAPS and multi-layer architecture to process all the information, thus the system is stable for NGN/IMS value-added services.

In the future, our development will be based on Triple Play NGN/IMS: With accessibility for both PC and portable devices.

● Multi-Protection Service Platform

● Network Element Management System

● Automatic Payment Reminding System

● IP/3G Video Gateway

● Next Generation Telecom Management Platform

● Hosted IP PBX Service Platform

AMS(Alarm Management System)

When the AMS system receives a MES message (abnormal malfunction), the system will automatically decrypt the message, process the message, and notify the maintenance team through email, telephone, or SMS messaging. The maintenance team can communicate with the AMS through simple IVR to resolve the malfunction problem.

The AMS uses the voice platform Envox as its core architecture. With the ability for the system to process data from the internet, system, and telephone numbers, the AMS is able to assist the maintenance team to easily monitor and assess the system via web interface.

AMS Design Philosophy

The design philosophy of the AMS focuses on the overall integration of the MES (Manufacture Execution System) and PCS (Process Control System) to improve the overall manufacturing efficiency.

AMS Functions

1. Monitor each network element system through ICMP.

2. Monitor internet protocols FTP, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, SIP, NNTP. If any of the systems fail to operate, a notification message is sent to the maintenance team.

3. Through the SSH, TELNET, SNMP, the system is actively able to collect and assess system information to determine if there is any malfunction. All warning messages can be sent via SNMP Trap, Syslog.

4. Utilize ppp protocol to communicate with the Terminal Server in order to manipulate network elements remotely.

5. If the system fails, a notification message (voice, IP, message, email) will be sent to the maintenance team.

6. Supports Web Interface Management for system monitoring and assessment.

7. Supports high availability mechanism.

8. Supports system during planned downtime, system will not send warning message during maintenance.
